The Genealogy Shop Publishing

The Genealogy Shop reprints books of historical or genealogical interest. Our reprints are generally available as soft cover books and PDFs that can be downloaded or purchased on CD. When reprinting novels or other fiction, we re-typeset the book using Adobe InDesign® to create a clear, easy-to-read, version.

For non-fiction, or items of particular historical interest, we publish the exact scanned images in a fully text searchable PDF. Our PDF's are of significantly higher quality than those available elsewhere that have been mechanically scanned and converted to text. Our images are hand scanned and individually optimized. After automated OCR, the entire text is manually read and corrected as needed.
